The train station, boat trips, car and cycle hire are all within a 5 minute walk.

The city centre location means that shops, cafes and restaurants are just a few minutes' walk away.

To make a booking please call steph on 07800904743 or alternatively email her at steph@holidayletinyork.co.uk or use the form on this website to confirm availability.

The full cost of the holiday must be paid 6 weeks before your arrival date at the property. If you are booking earlier than this, you will be asked to pay 50% of the holiday cost when your booking is confirmed. We will then send you confirmation of booking which will tell you the balance payable and the date by which the balance payment is due. If the balance is not paid on time, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit will be retained by us.

If you are booking less than 6 weeks before the start date, you must pay the full holiday price on booking.

You will be required to pay a breakage deposit of £150 when you make your first payment. The breakage deposit will be refunded to you (less any costs for breakages, damage, excessive cleaning etc) within 2 weeks from your departure date.

You and all members of the rental party agree both to keep the property clean and tidy and to leave it in a similar condition to that in which you found it upon your arrival.

The property may not be occupied by more than 4 persons.

The apartment is a strictly NON SMOKING residence and pets are NOT allowed.

Directions

By Road:

From the A64 take the A1036 into the city centre. On approaching Micklegate Bar take the middle lane and go through the left hand archway into Micklegate. Proceed down the hill to the second set of traffic lights and turn right into Skeldergate then immediately right into Fetter Lane. Crambeck Court is on your left hand side after approximately 100 metres just before you reach the top of the hill.

From the railway station by foot:

Exit the front of the station to the left. Cross the main road using the pedestrian crossing outside the Principal hotel. Go to the left and through the Bar walls. At the war memorial turn left down the slope and then right onto Rougier Street. Walk to the end of Rougier Street which becomes George Hudson Street, cross the road turning right up Micklegate and turn left into St Martin's Lane, a cobbled lane past a church. Crambeck Court is diagonally to your left on reaching the end of the lane.

By Public Transport:

A taxi is available from the front of the railway station. Direct them to Fetter Lane off Skeldergate.

  • A truly 5 star stay close to the centre of York. Close enough to walk everywhere with plenty to fill our time. We did shopping, sight seeing, eating and drinking in Christmas markets. A lovely, peaceful weekend - thank you for the “Home from Home” accommodation. The only thing missing was snow!! Maybe next time!!
